Three dogs, two cats, fully carpeted house — it was genuinely bad. We called a pest control company and had them do a professional treatment the same day we gave all the animals their NexGard and Revolution. Had to do a second pest control visit four weeks later because we still saw some stragglers (tech said that was normal with heavy infestations — the pupae hatching out). By week ten it was completely clear. Worth every penny of the $280 for the two professional treatments given how long we'd been suffering.

I did the whole-home spray with an IGR and switched to Bravecto for my beagle, and it's definitely much better — down from finding 10+ fleas a day to maybe 2–3 a week. But I have a large yard with a lot of shade and I think that's where they're still coming from. I haven't treated outside yet. Going to rent a yard sprayer this weekend. The indoor piece clearly worked, I just didn't realize until now that the yard was also part of the problem.
