Most advice on the internet is written to rank in search engines, paid for by advertisers, or copied from somewhere else that was already wrong. We built Trusted.Solutions because we were tired of finding "top 10" articles that never actually tested anything.
Every problem/solution pair on this site has been independently researched. We don't publish a solution until we're confident in it — confident enough to stand behind it with our name.
Our standard: Would we recommend this to a family member? If the answer is no, or if we're not sure, it doesn't go on the site.
For every solution we publish, we research the evidence, identify the products or protocols that actually work, and document why. Where we have direct experience — including situations where we've treated a problem ourselves or with family — we disclose that. Where we rely on expert sources, we cite them.
We cover solutions across five areas: Health, House & Home, Money, Pets, and Local Services.
Beyond the content library, Trusted.Solutions operates local.trusted.solutions — a vetted contractor matching service in select markets. We apply the same verification standard to the contractors we list: real credentials, real reviews, real accountability. We don't list contractors we wouldn't hire ourselves.
