Ringworm diagnosis — confirmed by fungal culture, took ten days to come back which felt like forever. The antifungal shampoo twice a week definitely helped. Where we went wrong was not treating our other dog at the same time and not being aggressive enough with the bedding. The patches cleared, then came back about six weeks later. Second round we did the oral itraconazole for both dogs simultaneously, bleached everything weekly for eight weeks, and it's been clear for four months now. The decontamination piece is not optional — I can't stress that enough.
