Our gas bills went down roughly $45/month compared to the prior year, which is maybe $540 a year. At that rate we're looking at a 35-year payback on energy savings alone. The windows look great, our home appraised slightly higher, and the cold spots by the living room window are gone. But I won't pretend the energy math works out. If I were doing it over I'd have started with air sealing and done the windows room by room as they actually needed it instead of all at once.
